Day two of the Principles of Subject Control (P.O.S.C.) Instructor class at Children’s Hospital Of Wisconsin in Milwaukee.

Joel Lashley explained that healthcare providers are 5%-20% more likely to be assaulted than the average person.

Joel then explained the Seven Myths of Violence in Healthcare. The students are using this information as they are learning how to teach other healthcare staff how to utilize P.O.S.C. tactics to keep patients, other healthcare professionals and themselves safe.
